
This is the range around which our entire kitchen was planned. We picked it out before we even looked at any other aspect of the remodel concept. We love to cook and bake. This range will serve us well
This is also the range that would not fit through any doors in our home. So, this morning, it came through the soon-to-be window. The contractors built this
On the outside, it was a frame of about 6 feet high. The guys put the range (600 - 700 lbs) on a lift and cranked it up to the platform. Then they scootched it to the inside of the window (with a mere inch of height to spare), and balanced it on the supports you see in the close-up. Now, I wasn't at home for this part, but I'm told that they actually lifted it off of the supports and onto the floor with their bare hands! There were four of them, and it took team work, but they did it. We were all giddy with their success!
I bought them espresso brownies.
