Our kitchen appliances are scheduled for delivery this afternoon. Last night we moved furniture around so that the guys will be able to get through the living room, dining room, and finally into the kitchen. At some point we decided to look at the measurements of the fridge and range, the two biggest items that will be delivered. We also measured the doorway to the kitchen, and it looks like the fridge will just make it. The range, however, is three inches too big for that - or any other - door.
So...do you think it will be a problem that the range won't even fit through the front door?
We placed a slightly anxious call to our wonder-designer, who assured us that she had accounted for this and that a lift will be rented and that there will be an "army of men" to help get it up through the very large hole that will eventually be the kitchen window.
Uh huh.
I guess it's a good thing, then, that we've had two incorrect versions of that window delivered. And that's why it's still just a hole in the side of the house...big enough for the range to fit through.
Huh.
